Up for sale is this striking vintage Navajo silver pair of earrings. This is a fantastic pair of long3-section post pierced dangle earrings! The post is the large 9/16" round floral, with the second station being the marvelous silver platform with a gorgeous Morenci turquoise stone, neatly nestled among silver applique leaves, stems and berries! And then dangling below are the 3 long silver feathers! These earrings are right and left specific and have the most marvelous movement! Morenci turquoise is a highly prized and sought-after variety of turquoise that comes from the Morenci mine in southeastern Arizona, United States. It is considered one of the finest and most valuable types of turquoise due to its distinctive colors and matrix patterns. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, Juan Guerro. Each earring measures 3-1/2" long and 5/8" wide. The earrings weigh around 14 grams.
